Say hello to Chef Gabriel Medina. For those who don't know him, Gabriel is the head chef at Soma Sushi. When Gabriel's away from work he's usually around with friends and family, which is exactly how we decided to do the shoot. Among the friends there for the shoot was pastry chef Chris Leung who is responsible for some amazing desserts over at Cloud 10 Creamery. He'll be opening up a storefront this month, so be sure to drop by and give his creations a try.
So what did Gabriel cook for the day of the shoot? Burgers. Not just any burgers though, these were ground Kobe beef burger patties, with sautéed mushrooms, kumato tomatoes, swiss cheese, bacon, fried egg, and topped off with a truffle oil ranch avocado spread. I'm going to say this with absolute confidence, but Gabriel's burger was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had.
